To be eligible for the Montenegro Citizenship by Investment Program the principal candidate must be at least 18 years old complete the eligibility conditions and make the required contributions to the government of Montenegro. There are two ways to become eligible for the program:

An investment of 500000 Euros in development initiatives in Podgorica or the coastal regions.

A 250000 Euros investment in development projects in northern or central Montenegro excluding Podgorica.

In addition each application incurs a government cost of EUR 200000. This contribution will go to a specific fund for the development of impoverished areas (100000 EUR) and to the Innovation Fund of Montenegro (also 100000 EUR) (EUR 100000).
The anticipated duration of the application procedure varies, as the length of the first step of document collecting is dependent on the applicant’s capacity to gather them. All the Applications are processed within 6 to 8 months following receipt by the relevant government agency. The review phase is subject to the respective government’s timeline and may be affected by factors that our staff advises on with examples and best practices throughout the entire procedure.
